Global importance #1
The Savanna is important. It is globally important because many animals can be extinct. Animals such as the Black Rhino, African Elephant, Gravy's Zebra, and African Wild Dog. The Black Rhino's are being extinct because of hunters and poachers. They think there is medicinal value in their horns. Hunters are illegally hunting the African Elephant for their tusks, mean, and skin. Humans are drinking the Gravy's Zebra's water and taking their land to graze cows and grow crops. African Wild Dogs are as endangered as the Black Rhino. Farmers poach them to save their live stock, but hunters desire the colorful pelt. So, these animals might be extinct.
