PSYCHOTRIA POEPPIGIANA (A.K.A Hotlips)
The Psychotria Poeppigiana is a type of flower/plant in the Savanna. It gets it's nickname ''HOTLIPS'' because up close it looks like lips that are really red. It can be found in the neotropical biome in the Savanna. This flower is usually clumped together like 20 on each brush, but can sometimes be found 1 by 1 on the ground. this flower needs it's stupules, intrapetiolar, and petiole. These things help the flower produce and survive in the Savanna. So in the neotropical biome the flower's stems (intrapetiolar) helps it survive in the biome and function, but the other things in the flower helps keep the stem running. The flower has is actually located in the middle and the petals that look like lips, are the bracts.
